The 2020 CLS Regional Retreat took place January 31-Febriuary 2, 2020. It was an exciting event with thirty-eight lawyers, law students, InterVarsity staff, spouses and families. We met at beautiful Lake Geneva Conference Point Center for the Fifth Annual Midwest Retreat. Plenary speakers included Reed Smith, CLS Staff Attorney for The Center for Law and Religious Freedom, Jeff Fowler, CLS National Board Member, Gerry Nordgren and Dave Clark, Chicago Area legal aid attorneys and Brent Amato, CLS Chicago Area Regional Staff Member. The agenda included small group discussions, worship, fellowship, prayer, recreation and huge quantities of food.
